Preschool and Kindergarten
The Preschool and Kindergarten programs are Monday-Friday from 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM. Each classroom has a lead teacher and teacher-aide. Teachers work together to support the student's social and emotional development, building a strong foundation for literacy development.
1st-4th Grade
Our goal is to build creative, collaborative, critical-thinkers who are prepared for the rigor and independence of 5th-8th Grade. This is done through the 'Go Math' Program for Math instruction and the 'Journeys' Program for ELA instruction. Teachers maintain a supportive and nurturing environment, while maintaining high expectations.
Students remain with their homeroom teachers for Reading, English, Writing, Math, Religion and Fine Arts. Students switch classrooms for Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Computers. Teachers build strong instructional plans based on CCSS, NGSS, and Archdiocesan Standards.
5th-8th Grade
The expectation for responsibility, independence and leadership increases when students move to 5th-8th Grade. Our goal is for students to use these skills to succeed in high school and beyond, and to take ownership of their future. Teachers also support students' social and emotional growth as they enter adolescence through conflict resolution sessions.
Students rotate with their homerooms between ELA, Math, Science, Religion, Social Studies, P.E., Fine Arts and Computers, and they see 5 different teachers each day. The teachers build upon the student's strong academic foundation from PK-4th Grade using CCSS, NGSS, and Archdiocesan standards.
