Catholic Identity

In a 2007 Archdiocesan evaluation, Saint Agnes of Bohemia Catholic School scored a score of 31 out of a possible 32 points in characteristics that define an institution as identifiably Catholic. Research has shown that Catholic schools directly impact the future lives of their students. Graduates of Catholic schools are more closely bonded to the Church, more deeply committed to adult religious practices, happier, and more supportive of religious perspectives on women and have more confidence in other people, have more benign images of God, and possess a greater awareness of the responsibility for moral decision making.

For Saint Agnes, this Catholic identity is put into action through daily religious instruction, weekly class masses, classroom time with priests and religious sisters, and special religious services such as Via Crucis, May Crowning, and a celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Religious curriculum and activities are infused in all aspects of our students' lives while at Saint Agnes and hopefully in their future commitments to the Church.
